Geodon is an antipsychotic medicine that works by changing the effects of chemicals in the brain and is used for curing manic symptoms of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia in children and kids who are at least ten years old. Also known as Ziprasidone and sold as Zeldox by Pfizer, Geodon was the 5th atypical antipsychotic to gain approval in US. It is approved by U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for schizophrenia treatment and mixed states and acute mania associated with bipolar disorder. Its intramuscular injection form is approved for acute agitation in patients with schizophrenic for whom treatment with just Ziprasidone is appropriate.

  • You can take Geodon as recommended by your doctor; however not in smaller or larger amounts and not for longer than>
