Valtrex is an antiviral medicine that slows the spread and growth of herpes virus, so that the body can fight off the disease. It won’t treat herpes, however can less infection symptoms and is used for treating diseases caused by herpes viruses in children and adolescents. Doses of Valtrex
  • Use Valtrex exactly as recommended by your healthcare provider; don’t take it large amounts or for longer than prescribed.

  • It can be taken with glass full of water and with or without food. Drink plenty of fluids, while using this medicine to keep your kidneys working properly.
